• 8:59 a.m. — Firefighters responded to a structure fire at the BeVille Manor Apartments on Applegate Street. Fire was contained to one apartment, no injuries, three families displaced. See separate story.

• 1:23 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a fire alarm in the 1500 block of Timothy Street.

• 3:47 p.m. — Firefighters responded to power lines down or arcing on Fern Road and Aurora Lane.

• 8:47 p.m. — Firefighters via mutual aid responded to a fire in the 600 block of Orchard Street in Monroe. The call was canceled en route.

• 11:47 a.m. — Firefighters responded to a report of a gas leak in the 33600 block of Marys River Estates Road. The cause of the odor was determined to be diesel fumes from vehicles in the area.
