FRIDAY, AUG. 1

• 1:22 a.m. — Emergency medical services responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Highway 20 between Lone Star Road and Woods Creek Road. The responding crew reported that the vehicle, a small SUV, was about 20 feet off the road and down a 10-foot embankment. The vehicle’s airbags deployed and there was moderate front-end damage. Minor injuries were reported. The driver, a 27-year-old Philomath man, had self-extricated and walked up to the highway when the Fire and Rescue crew arrived. A BCSO report on the incident determined that the driver had fallen asleep at the wheel.

SATURDAY, AUG. 2

• 8:25 a.m. — Firefighters responded to an alarm in the 400 block of South 31st Street.

• 7:06 p.m. — Firefighters responded to an alarm in the 500 block of South 17th Street.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 6

• 3:23 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a report of power lines down in the 1800 block of College Street. A crew arrived to find wires hanging approximately 6 feet off the ground. College Street traffic was blocked until Pacific Power arrived to restore the lines.
