FRIDAY, AUG. 28

• 1:14 a.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to a fire alarm activation in the 3100 block of Main Street.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 2:47 a.m. (Banks Lane) and 8:42 p.m. (Woods Creek Road).

SATURDAY, AUG. 29

• No calls of public significance reported.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 2:05 a.m. (North 12th Street), 11:34 a.m. (Botkin Road) and 12:38 p.m. (Deer Creek Way).

SUNDAY, AUG. 30

• 2:49 p.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to a mutual aid call at Corvallis Fire Department Station 2, responding with three personnel in an engine. Upon arrival, the crew remained at the station until a grass fire in Philomath prompted a return.

• 4:19 p.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to a small wildland fire on Highway 34 about 10 miles southwest of the intersection with Highway 20, responding with nine personnel in two engines, a brush truck and two command vehicles. Upon arrival, crews found a slow-moving fire estimated at 10 feet by 50 feet moving along the highway. Firefighters extinguished the blaze and completed mop-up, assisted by the Oregon Department of Forestry.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to a call at 2:34 p.m. (South Ninth Street and Applegate Street).

MONDAY, AUG. 31

• No calls of public significance reported.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 4:24 a.m. (39000 block of Kings Valley Highway), 8:53 a.m. (Pioneer Street), 1:44 p.m. (Joseph Lane) and 4:08 p.m. (Joseph Lane).

TUESDAY, SEPT. 1

• 2:02 a.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to a fire alarm activation in the 300 block of South 26th Street.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 3:25 a.m. (Acorn Court), 6:41 p.m. (Main Street) and 9:10 p.m. (South 18th Street).

WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 2

• 11:06 a.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to a fire alarm activation in the 3100 block of Southwood Drive.

• 4:24 p.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash with injuries in the 4400 block of Southwest Airport Avenue, responding with seven personnel in an engine, brush vehicle and two command vehicles. Upon arrival, the driver denied injuries and refused medical assessment.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 3

• 1:31 p.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to a mutual aid call in the 400 block of East Yates Road west of Alsea, responding with four personnel in a rescue vehicle. The crew was cancelled en route.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 6:05 a.m. (Applegate Street and South Seventh Street), 1:14 p.m. (Peterson Road) and 7:10 p.m. (Applegate Street).
