• 9:36 a.m. — Firefighters responded to a report of a natural gas leak at a construction site on West Hills Road. Three neighboring homes were advised to shelter in place during the operation. NW Natural crews capped the line. See separate story.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 25

• 6:08 p.m. — Emergency medical services responded to a vehicle-motorcycle crash at the intersection of Fern Road and Wonderly Lane. According to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, a Yamaha XV2 motorcycle “T-boned” a Chevrolet Silverado that was attempting to make a turn onto Wonderly Lane. The motorcyclist was transported to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. Fire and Rescue personnel tended to fluid that had spilled onto the roadway.
