FRIDAY, JULY 24
• 12:10 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a fire alarm activation in the 32000 block of Fern Road.
Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 3:17 a.m. (Hoskins Road), 10:56 a.m. (Pioneer Street) and 9:42 p.m. (Pioneer Street).
SATURDAY, JULY 25
• No calls of public significance reported.
Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to a call at 3:31 p.m. (North 19th Street/College Street).
SUNDAY, JULY 26
• 8:28 p.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash with injuries in the 25000 block of Southwest Airport Road. Crews responded with seven personnel in an engine, a brush truck and two command vehicles. Upon arrival, crews found an injured motorcycle rider, who was transported to the hospital by Corvallis Fire Department ambulance.
Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 9:49 a.m. (Pheasant Court) and 5:49 p.m. (North 19th Street).
MONDAY, JULY 27
• 10 a.m. — Firefighters were deployed to the Shingle Fire, located 14 miles southeast of Mitchell, responding with three personnel in a heavy brush truck along with another crew member supplementing the Monroe crew. As of July 31, crews remained deployed to the fire.
• 5:01 p.m. — Emergency medical services responded to a Main Street location for what turned out to be a death investigation by the Philomath Police Department.
TUESDAY, JULY 28
• 9:35 a.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash with injuries at Highway 20 and Brumfield Lane. Crews responded with four personnel in an engine and a command vehicle. Upon arrival, crews found a camper van and a dump truck on the eastbound shoulder with damage. Crews provided medical assessment to the individuals, who were transported to the hospital by Corvallis Fire Department ambulance.
