• 9:18 a.m. — Firefighters responded to a report of a small wildland fire in the 4700 block of Bellfountain Road. Upon arrival, crews found an authorized burn pile.

TUESDAY, OCT. 14
• 7:52 a.m. — Firefighters responded to a chain-reaction crash involving three to four vehicles in the 1800 block of Main Street with minor injuries reported. The incident forced the closure of the intersection of 19th Street and Main Street during the morning school rush. The crew cleaned up fluid that had spilled on the roadway.
• 9:44 a.m. — Emergency medical services responded to a vehicle-motor scooter incident at Applegate Street and South 10th Street. According to Philomath Police, the impact knocked the pedestrian off of the motorized scooter. Minor injuries were reported.
• 2:23 p.m. — Philomath Fire and Rescue and the Oregon Department of Forestry responded to a wildland fire in the 31000 block of Bellfountain Road. Upon arrival, the crews found flames approximately 1 foot high burning across the section of property. The fire was contained at just over half an acre.
• 4:39 p.m. — Firefighters responded to Highway 34 near Bevens Park Lane for a report of a vehicle fire. Upon arrival, crews found a Ford F-150 fully engulfed in flames. The fire was extinguished. The fire department made no mention of any possible injuries in its media log.
