• 1:48 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a request to go on standby at the Corvallis Fire Station No. 2 (500 SW 35th St.) for the Corvallis Fire Department. The response was canceled shortly after the dispatch.

• 12:13 a.m. — Firefighters responded to the activation of an alarm in the 7200 block of Deerhaven Drive.

MONDAY, MAY 5
• 2:21 a.m. — Firefighters responded to a vehicle fire at Main Street and South 24th Street. Upon arrival, the driver was out of the vehicle and the fire was extinguished. The Philomath Police Department responded as well and arrested the driver, a 22-year-old man from Manteca, California, on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants.
• 8:26 p.m. — Firefighters responded to the activation of an alarm in the 2100 block of Dawnwood Drive.

THURSDAY, MAY 8
• 11:23 a.m. — Emergency medical services personnel responded to a single-vehicle crash at South 16th Street and Chapel Drive. Upon arrival, the crew found a vehicle in the north ditch rolled over onto its passenger side. The vehicle’s roof was removed to extricate the driver. Philomath Police reported that the driver, who was transported to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center via Corvallis Fire ambulance, had experienced a diabetic issue that led to the crash.
