FRIDAY, MARCH 7

• No calls reported.

SATURDAY, MARCH 8

• 10:22 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a burn complaint in the 200 block of North 14th Street. It was determined that yard debris was being burned after the allowable hours as regulated by the Department of Environmental Quality. A crew extinguished the fire.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 1:44 p.m. (North Eighth Street) and 11:06 p.m. (Main Street).

SUNDAY, MARCH 9

• 6:30 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a mutual aid call involving a fire in the 800 block of Commercial Street, Monroe. The call was canceled en route.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to a call at 1:38 p.m. (Peterson Road).

MONDAY, MARCH 10

• No calls of public significance reported.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 12:20 a.m. (Old Peak Road), 1:24 a.m. (North 10th Street) and 12:01 p.m. (Peterson Road).

TUESDAY, MARCH 11

• No calls of public significance reported.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to a call at 7:42 p.m. (Rosecrest Drive).

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 12

• 6:58 a.m. — Emergency medical services personnel responded to a crash at the intersection of North 19th Street Main Street. One individual suffered injuries and was transported to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis. Others involved were assessed and declined transport.

• 9:39 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a potential structure fire at a residence on Southwest Randall Way. Upon arrival, crews found no fire and the house was checked throughout for areas of concern. During the investigation, it was determined that the source of smoke likely involved a chest freezer in the garage that was damaged during a power surge. 

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 3:19 p.m. (North 14th Street), 4:23 p.m. (Gellatly Way) and 10:59 p.m. (Peterson Road).

THURSDAY, MARCH 13

• 5:32 a.m. — Firefighters responded to a fire alarm in the 1200 block of Adams Street.

• 7:35 a.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to conduct an odor investigation at the Student Transportation of America school bus yard off Highway 20 west of Philomath. Upon arrival, the crew met with a worker performing maintenance on a propane tank who was utilizing proper procedures.
