MONDAY, FEB. 16
• 3:36 p.m. — Firefighters responded to the activation of an alarm in the 600 block of South 19th Street with an engine, command vehicle and six personnel. Upon arrival, firefighters were met by the property owner who was conducting a test of the system.
• 6:37 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a chimney fire in the 5300 block of Worth Way. The homeowner shut down a pellet stove and the crew used a thermal imaging camera to check for further risk and found none. The crew advised the homeowner to not use the pellet stove until it could be inspected. Fire and Rescue’s response included an engine, command vehicle and six personnel.
TUESDAY, FEB. 17
• 7:31 a.m. — Emergency medical services responded to a crash at Kings Valley Highway and Labare Road involving a vehicle that slid off an icy road. The vehicle’s two occupants were reportedly not injured. Fire and Rescue’s response included an engine, rescue vehicle, command vehicle and six personnel.
• 12:36 p.m. — Emergency medical services responded to the 500 block of Canberra Street for a report of a toddler who was stuck in a baby chair. Crews cut away the material and the child was able to get out of the chair with minimal assistance. Fire and Rescue’s response included an engine, command vehicle and five personnel.

WEDNESDAY, FEB. 18
• 8:33 a.m. — Firefighters responded to a request for public assistance in the 23000 block of Henderson Road involving a broken pipe. Upon arrival, the crew assisted with water removal. Fire and Rescue’s response included a rescue vehicle, command vehicle and five personnel.
• 1:10 p.m. — Firefighters responded to the activation of an alarm in the 200 block of South 16th Street with an engine, command vehicle and five personnel. The crew found nothing upon arrival and was notified that it was a drill.

THURSDAY, FEB. 19
• 3:38 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a pressurized gas leak in the 35000 block of Wren Road with an engine, command vehicle and six personnel. Upon arrival, the crew met with homeowners who stated that a gas stove had been bumped. The homeowners shut the burner off and ventilated the home. The crew confirmed gas levels using a gas monitor and advised the homeowner to continue monitoring and ventilating the area to remove any residual gas.
• 6:45 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a report of a fire in a container storage unit in the 23000 block of Harris Road. Upon arrival, firefighters found that a homeowner had extinguished the fire and removed the contents. The crew confirmed that the fire was out and assisted with salvage. Fire and Rescue’s response included an engine, rescue vehicle, command vehicle and five personnel.
