FRIDAY, MAY 30

• 10:47 a.m. — Firefighters responded to a fire alarm that was activated in the 300 block of North 15th Street.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 7:42 A.M. (Highway 34) and 2:28 p.m. (Highway 34). 

SATURDAY, MAY 31

• 11:57 a.m. — Emergency medical services responded to the 23200 block of Harris Road for an ATV crash that was initially reported as trapping the operator underneath the machine. Family members drove the injured operator to a nearby location to meet with emergency crews for medical care and an assessment. The operator, whose sex and age were not reported, was transported via Corvallis Fire ambulance to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. The extent of the victim’s injuries were not disclosed.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to a call at 3:58 p.m. (Rosecrest Drive).

SUNDAY, JUNE 1

• 3:22 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a report of a small grass fire in the 24000 block of Cardwell Hill Drive. Upon arrival, crews found a burn pile that had escaped and expanded to a 30-by-50-foot uncontrolled fire. The fire was extinguished. See separate story.

MONDAY, JUNE 2

• 8:17 a.m. — Firefighters responded to a report of a fluid spill following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Bellfountain Road and Airport Avenue south of Philomath.

• 2:45 p.m. — Firefighters conducted a smoke investigation in the 2500 block of Main Street.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 1:07 a.m. (Rosecrest Drive), 10:30 a.m. (Main Street) and 11:46 p.m. (Rosecrest Drive).

TUESDAY, JUNE 3

• 11:26 a.m. — Firefighters were dispatched on a mutual aid call to provide coverage at Corvallis Fire Department Station No. 2 in Southwest 35th Street.

• 11:39 a.m. — Emergency medical services personnel were dispatched on a mutual aid call to the 200 block of Southwest 35th Street in Corvallis. No other information was provided.

• Noon — Firefighters were dispatched on a mutual aid call to assist the Corvallis Fire Department at the scene of a house fire in the 900 block of Southwest 11th Street. Fire departments from Philomath, Adair Village and Albany assisted on the operation. Corvallis Fire reported that it took more than an hour to fully extinguish the flames. Philomath Fire and Rescue provided a team to complete a secondary search of the property and the department’s operations chief helped incident command and with the fire investigation.

• 1:44 p.m. — Emergency medical services personnel were dispatched on a mutual aid call to the 1700 block of Western Boulevard in Corvallis.
