The Philomath Fire and Rescue Board of Directors plans to meet at 3 p.m. Monday at Station 201 with an agenda that includes meeting with a consultant for a district audit discussion about master planning.

Roy Emery, of the Special Districts Association of Oregon’s Consulting Services Program, is scheduled to meet with the board for the discussion. The SDAO program provides advice and guidance in various areas, including planning for the future.

New business to be discussed includes details on a Budget Committee meeting coming up on April 18 and the board’s annual self-appraisal. Fire Chief Chancy Ferguson is slated to update a personnel manual and administrative directives review.

The agenda also provides time for reports from Ferguson, Deputy Fire Chief Rich Saalsaa, office administrator Ashley Scott, the volunteer association’s Dan Eddy, the firefighter union’s Scott Moser and City Council liaison Christopher McMorran.

The fire station is located at 1035 Main St. The meeting can also be accessed through Zoom (see the agenda for instructions).
