The city’s Finance and Administration Committee plans to review water rates at its meeting at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17 at City Hall.
Based on previous conversations at meetings in recent weeks, the discussion could involve an adjustment to water rates in the homeowner’s favor with this summer’s news that the city had received a $12 million grant to cover the remaining cost of building a new water treatment plant.
The agenda also includes discussion on a high-strength sewer waste fee.
Councilor David Low, Mayor Chas Jones and Councilor Matt Lehman serve on the committee. Low leads the meetings as the chair.
The public can watch a live feed of the meeting on the city’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/cityofphilomath.
