The Corvallis Arts Guild will offer its second program in a three-part Discovery Days series Saturday at Philomath Museum. The free family activity is scheduled to run from 10 a.m.-noon.
This “WINGS” program will feature a bird-themed experience with hands-on activities suitable for all ages. Participants will learn about birds and flight with Willamette Valley Bird Alliance, try to write with a goose quill and see what other uses can be found for feathers.
The third program, “SEEDS,” will be July 5 and focus on the planting of seeds.
The series is being offered by Corvallis Art Guild in conjunction with its show, “Ancestry: Roots, Wings & Seeds,” which is currently showing in the Moreland Gallery.
