The Benton County Health Department in collaboration with the Oregon Health Authority and the Philomath School District has organized COVID-19 drop-in pediatric vaccination clinics to occur in Philomath on Jan. 10 and Jan. 31.

The clinic, which is for youth ages 5-17 and their families, will run from 4-7:30 p.m. at Philomath High School. All brands of authorized COVID-19 vaccines are available, including the Pfizer for children ages 5-11. Appointments are not necessary.

Individuals who receive a COVID-19 vaccine at the clinics will receive a nonperishable food box, while supplies last.

The Benton County Health Department said it is prioritizing COVID-19 vaccinations for ages 5-11 and primary does for ages 12 and over at community events. For booster doses, the county advises people to use other existing community resources, which includes Philomath Pharmacy (1640 Main St., 541-929-2880).

For assistance with locating a COVID-19 vaccine, email DOC_PIO@co.benton.or.us or call 541-766-6120.

The high school is located at 2054 Applegate St.

Upcoming vaccination clinics are also planned for sites in Corvallis, Alsea and Monroe. For a complete rundown with descriptions of the events, click here.
