The Philomath Finance and Administration Committee plans to review a request for proposals related to entering into a contract with a professional auditing service during its meeting at 4 p.m. Wednesday at City Hall.
The city’s current auditor is Grove, Mueller and Swank but Finance Director Mike Murzynsky said there is no contract, which has created continuity and budget-planning issues. A timeline in the meeting agenda and packet shows that under the proposed plan, the city would advertise the RFP later this month in a selection process that would go into April with the awarding of a contract.
The Jan. 10 meeting will be live-streamed on the city’s YouTube channel.
