Railroad crossing repairs will force the closure of Summit Highway in three locations between Blodgett and Eddyville on three separate three-day stretches in September, the Oregon Department of Transportation announced.
The Portland and Western Railroad are making repairs to three railroad crossings on Highway 180 — Sept. 7-9 at milepost 11.45 (just west of Nashville), Sept. 14-16 at milepost 6.80 and Sept. 21-23 at milepost 6.59 (the latter two both east of Nortons).
Closures will start in the morning around 7 a.m. of the first day and not reopen until the evening around 7 p.m. of the last day.
ODOT said that during closures, travelers will need to use Highway 20.
