Individuals are identified in the log only if arrested on felony charges. Juveniles are not identified. People arrested or suspected of crimes are considered innocent until proven otherwise.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 14

• 5:52 p.m. — BCSO issued a criminal citation to a 30-year-old Blodgett man on a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended during a traffic stop on Kings Valley Highway. The driver was also cited for failing to have an ignition interlock device installed on his vehicle. The deputy initially pulled over the driver for malfunctioning taillights and brake lights.

THURSDAY, MAY 15

• 7:33 p.m. — BCSO responded to a report of a minor in possession at a party at a residence on Kings Valley Highway. The responding deputy reported that he spoke to several teens, one of which had nicotine pouches. The teen forfeited the pouches and the home owners were consulted. No citations were issued.

FRIDAY, MAY 16

• 11:15 a.m. — BCSO issued a criminal citation to a 54-year-old Philomath woman for an outstanding warrant out of Albany Municipal Court during a traffic stop at South 20th Street and Applegate Street.

• 1:39 p.m. — BCSO responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 20 about 2 miles east of Blodgett involving a Jeep and a recreational vehicle. One individual was transported with non-life-threatening injuries to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis. See separate story.

• 7:25 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 30-year-old Scio woman on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol .20 or above), reckless driving and carrying a concealed weapon during a traffic stop at Applegate Street and South 14th Street. The woman was issued criminal citations in lieu of custody and released to a friend.

SUNDAY, MAY 18

• 11:55 a.m. — BCSO issued a criminal citation to a 59-year-old Corvallis man for an outstanding warrant out of Albany Municipal Court during a traffic stop at Harlan-Burnt Woods Road and Shotpouch Road in Blodgett.

MONDAY, MAY 19

• 9:46 a.m. — BCSO responded to a report of property damage in the 22900 block of Harris Road involving a vehicle that had hit a fence and mailbox the previous night. The deputy received photos from the resident and took additional photos but could not find a vehicle with damage consistent with the property damage.

FRIDAY, MAY 23

• 8:29 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 57-year-old Sweet Home man on a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended during a traffic stop on Highway 20 at Mouse Mountain Drive. The man was issued a citation in lieu of custody.
