TUESDAY, AUG. 25
• 5:10 p.m. — BCSO responded to a traffic hazard on Highway 20 near Blodgett after a 62-year-old Springfield man’s pickup broke down and partially blocked the eastbound lane. The man canceled his tow and consented to BCSO calling a different towing company, which arrived and towed the vehicle to Springfield, allowing the lane to reopen.
WEDNESDAY, AUG. 26
• 8:57 a.m. — BCSO investigated a report of telephonic harassment on Chapel Drive involving a 24-year-old Albany woman and a 19-year-old Philomath woman. Deputies determined there was insufficient evidence to establish probable cause for an arrest.
