TUESDAY, JUNE 25
• 10:45 a.m. — A deputy arrested a 57-year-old Philomath man on a warrant out of Albany Municipal Court for contempt of court. The man was cited, issued a new court date and released.
• 11:34 p.m. — A deputy arrested a 27-year-old Albany man on two warrants for failure to appear in court and a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended following a traffic stop on Highway 20 near Highway 223.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26
• 7:32 a.m. — A deputy responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Alsea Highway about 8 miles south of the Highway 20 intersection involving a 52-year-old Sweet Home man driving a Republic Services garbage truck that flipped on its side while on unstable ground. No injuries were reported.
FRIDAY, JUNE 28
• 12:40 p.m. — Deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash on Kings Valley Highway just south of Alexander Road that injured a 20-year-old Philomath woman. According to a report on the crash, the woman was driving a Honda Civic south on the highway when the passenger-side tires left the asphalt while negotiating a left-hand curve. The driver attempted to correct back onto the roadway but lost control and entered the west ditch, striking roadside shrubbery. The driver complained of back pain and was transported by medics to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
SATURDAY, JUNE 29
• 3:44 p.m. — A deputy responded to a report of a burglary that occurred on an Oak Lane property south of Philomath. A man reported that someone had stolen items from his vacant home that had an estimated value of $2,760, including a kiln worth $2,000.
