TUESDAY, MARCH 18

• 2:12 a.m. — BCSO arrested a 23-year-old Corvallis woman on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants (blood alcohol content of 0.13%) and reckless driving during a traffic stop in the 3100 block of Main Street. According to a report on the incident, the driver was clocked traveling 76 mph in a 40-mph zone. The woman was cited in lieu of custody.

FRIDAY, MARCH 21

• 2:58 p.m. —BCSO responded to a residence west of Philomath for a situation involving a woman who asked if the driver’s license of an older family member who suffers from dementia could be confiscated following an apparent crash. The responding deputy was not able to confiscate the license but would put the driver in for a license retest with the Department of Motor Vehicles.

TUESDAY, MARCH 25

• 7:59 a.m. — BCSO responded to a single-vehicle crash on Marys Peak Road involving a 2004 Jeep Liberty that left the roadway and struck a tree. The vehicle was unoccupied and the driver, a 20-year-old Eugene man, was later contacted. The driver stated that he was not aware that he needed to file a report before leaving the scene. No injuries were reported and the vehicle’s owner, a 54-year-old Eugene man, arranged for a tow.
