SUNDAY, OCT. 19

• 8:49 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 23-year-old Corvallis man on a misdemeanor charge of providing false information to a peace officer when a driver provided a fake name during a traffic stop on Highway 20 about 2 miles west of Philomath.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 22

• 2:50 p.m. — BCSO responded to a report of a possible violation of specialty forest product laws on Bureau of Land Management property near Flat Mountain. A deputy later arrested a 47-year-old Salem woman and a 45-year-old Salem man on misdemeanor charges of unlawful harvest of specialty forest products. BCSO seized approximately 12 crates and two 5-gallon buckets full of trimmed and processed chanterelle mushrooms. The mushrooms were donated to Philomath Community Gleaners.

SATURDAY, NOV. 1

• 4:13 a.m. — BCSO arrested a 22-year-old Corvallis man on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol .08 through .14) and reckless driving following a crash on Bellfountain Road north of Llewellyn Road. The driver was later issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody.

• 5:04 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 51-year-old Philomath man on a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended during a traffic stop on Main Street near Landmark Drive. The man was issued a criminal citation in lieu of custody and given a ride home.
