• 3:31 a.m. — Firefighters responded to a report of residents waking up to the smell of gas at a home in the 300 block of Marlon Street. Firefighters found the leak in the home’s garage. The gas was turned off and the house aired out.

• 11:16 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a report of a possible fire in the Student Transportation of America’s office along Highway 20 west of Philomath. Firefighters determined that a wall heater was smoking, turned off the breaker and found no fire.
