A state-level cut has left Philomath Outdoor School — a long-running and popular program for sixth graders — needing help with funding. We had a very heavy sports evening with girls soccer posting an impressive win, the football team routing an opponent on the road, the volleyball team pulling off a rare feat and the boys soccer team falling to Stayton.
