SUNDAY, AUG. 9
• 10:32 a.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to a small fire at Wren Hill Lumber on Highway 20. See separate story.

MONDAY, AUG. 10
• 12:38 a.m. — Emergency medical services personnel were dispatched to a crash reportedly with injuries on Highway 34 and responded with four personnel in an engine and a command vehicle. Upon arrival, crews found a vehicle off the road in “the curves.” The single occupant declined a medical assessment. The Benton County Sheriff’s Office reported that the driver, a 25-year-old Salem man, was not impaired.
• 1:56 p.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to a reported pressurized gas leak in the 600 block of South 19th Street and responded with four personnel in an engine and a command vehicle. Upon arrival, crews evaluated the area with a gas monitor and determined there was no natural gas leak.
