Good morning, Philomath.

Today’s newsletter has a lot, including wrestler Riley Barrett’s accomplishment last night of winning his third straight state wrestling title, a first at Philomath High. I also have a separate wrestling story on how the rest of the boys fared at state, which included medals by Derick Kohn, Porter Compton, Lake Mulberry and Lukas Hernandez. I also have a girls wrestling story on how freshman Makinzey Harrington did up in Portland. Plus, I put together a photo gallery of Friday’s action. My weekend Three Things column includes items on a Warrior survey, preschool update and Dial-A-Bus issue. The latest Psss column reports on the group’s latest news. We have an obituary for Guy Griffin, who was a Philomath High graduate. The latest OSP Log reports on a fatal crash involving a school bus near Independence. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
