The Corvallis Area Metropolitan Planning Organization plans to host a pair of virtual webinars Wednesday in its process to develop conceptual designs of Philomath Boulevard between Southwest 53rd Street and Southwest 15th Street in Corvallis.
Although not a project that’s physically in Philomath, the planning process to improve traffic through that particular section of Highway 20/34 may interest all types of commuters — motorists, bicyclists, pedestrians and users of public transit.
The virtual open house events will be offered May 8 from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 5:30-6:30 p.m. Registration is required to participate — click here for the midday session or click here for the evening session.
CAMPO is partnering with the Oregon Department of Transportation, city of Corvallis, city of Philomath and Benton County to collaboratively identify short-term improvements on Philomath Boulevard (Highway 20/34) that can be pursued for funding.
For more information, email Ashlyn Muzechenko at amuzechenko@ocwcog.org. For those interested but can’t make it, a recorded webinar with a follow-up survey will be available afterward on CAMPO’s website.
