Philomath Community Services and Samaritan Health Services are partnering to offer the community a walk-in foot-care clinic on Thursday, organizers announced.

The clinic, to be operated by Dr. Scott Rasmussen and accompanying clinicians, will run from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Feb. 9 in the Philomath Community Services parking lot at 360 S. Ninth St.

Organizers hope that anyone who might need medical attention related to their feet. Appointments are not necessary with folks seen on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Samaritan Health Services advises people to bring their health insurance card, if possible. But for those who do not have insurance or don’t qualify for Oregon Health Plan coverage, financial arrangements can be made. Samaritan says it will treat patients regardless of their ability to pay.
