Philomath High School will host a Veterans Day event Thursday, Nov. 9 and invites veterans and the community to attend.
The special assembly is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. in the high school auditorium. The program will include a speaker (to be determined), the PHS choir, a color guard unit from Oregon State University’s Military Science department and a video created by students.
A catered reception for guests will follow the program.
Associated Student Body members are organizing the event and ask that any veterans or community members who want to attend to RSVP to asb.signage@philomath.k12.or.us so a head count can be determined for the catered reception.
