Oregon State Police investigators are reaching out to the public to help identify potential suspects in a series of vehicle shootings that have occurred in Linn County over the past month.

There have been no injuries but in all five cases, law enforcement confirmed that damage to the vehicles had been caused by a firearm. Besides OSP, other agencies responding to such calls have included the Albany Police Department and Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

The incidents include:

  • Nov. 25, 9:30 a.m. — Highway 22E, near Mill City.
  • Dec. 1, 2:30 a.m. — Highway 20, near Highway 226.
  • Dec. 5, 2 a.m. — Highway 226, south of Scio.
