Five students from the Philomath area were among the 3,811 included on the University of Oregon’s dean’s list for the completed spring term.

To qualify, a student must be an admitted undergraduate and complete at least 12 credits with a letter grade and with a grade-point average of at least 3.75.

The dean’s list includes:

• Lauren Barlow, Philomath, sophomore, pre-journalism.

• Evie Blythe, senior, dance.

• Sydney Burton, Blodgett, sophomore, exploring.

• Madeline Richter, Philomath, senior, environmental studies.

• Caleb Sampson, Philomath, sophomore, music education.
