Three Philomath players were recognized for their contributions this season as part of those included on the Special District 3 all-district boys volleyball team.
Senior Chris Eaton and senior Mayson Wallace earned second-team honors, while sophomore Nico Mayo Carrasco received an honorable mention selection. The Warriors finished the season 7-11 overall and 4-8 in conference play.
Eaton, setter, and Wallace, opposite hitter, were among six players named to the second team. Mayo Carrasco, libero, was one of 10 players recognized in the honorable mention category.
Lance Knieriemen of Cascade claimed Player of the Year honors after earning a unanimous first-team selection alongside teammate Hunter Hawkins of Crosshill Christian. Also named to the first team were Grady Orton of Willamette Valley Christian, Zeben McCloud of Cascade, Jackson McNichols of Cascade and Morgan Tyson of Western Christian. McNichols also earned the Defensive Specialist first-team honor.
Scott Hawkins of Crosshill Christian was named Coach of the Year.
