A motorist escaped a Christmas morning rollover crash on Fern Road with only minor injuries, Philomath Fire & Rescue reported.
Capt. Rich Saalsaa said the local fire department was dispatched to the single-vehicle rollover at 10:53 a.m. Friday.
“A driver lost control of their vehicle and the vehicle came to rest on its top on the side of the road,” Saalsaa said. “The single passenger was wearing a seatbelt and was able to climb out of the vehicle with minor injuries.”
Saalsaa added that the victim did not require transportation to the hospital.
The Benton County Sheriff’s Office and the Corvallis Fire Department assisted Philomath Fire & Rescue at the scene.
Additional details on the crash were not immediately available.
