A celebration of life gathering in memory of George “Georgie” Edward Shroyer Jr. will be held from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at Marys River Grange Hall.
Shroyer, 86, died Sept. 3, 2025, at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Corvallis.
He was survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Shroyer of Philomath; his four children and their spouses, Mark and Jennifer Shroyer of Monmouth, Oregon, Susan and Shawn Faust, and Matt Shroyer, both of Philomath, Oregon, and Amy and Sean Fillmore of Albany, Oregon; 10 grandchildren, five great grandchildren and Lucy the cat.
He was reunited in Heaven with his beloved daughter, Holly Shroyer, and parents, Helen and George Shroyer Sr.
The public is invited to attend the service to “share stories, laughter and memories of Georgie.” Marys River Grange Hall is located at 24707 Grange Hall Road in Philomath.
