The Philomath School Board plans to meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday to discuss the district’s approach to a state initiative known as the Integrated Guidance Plan.
The Oregon Department of Education’s Integrated Guidance Plan represents an attempt to align and integrate several state and federal educational investments focused on innovation and improvement.
The guidance integrates six aligned programs — High School Success, Student Investment Account within the Student Success Act, Continuous Improvement Planning, Career and Technical Education, Every Day Matters and Early Indicator Intervention Systems.
The meeting agenda provides the opportunity for public comment.
The Philomath School District office is located at 1620 Applegate St., with access to the meeting through a door at the back of the building. Meetings are also streamed on the school district’s YouTube channel.
