The Philomath School Board invites community members willing to volunteer their time to assist in selecting the district’s next superintendent.
The board plans to select up to 15 individuals — that number also includes staff members — to assist in the application screening and interviewing process.
The school board plans to announce screening committee members at its Jan. 25 regular meeting. Successful applicants will be contacted by Jan. 31.
The district’s most recent superintendent search calendar shows that screening committee training would occur Feb. 16. Application screening would run from Feb. 16-March 1. A decision on which candidates to select for interviews would be announced on March 2.
Applications can be found online at www.philomathsd.net/superintendent-search and they must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Jan. 18.
