Samaritan Health Services plans to bring its mobile medicine clinic to Philomath Community Services on Saturday, Aug. 5 to provide routine sports physicals, the local nonprofit organization announced.

The physicals will be offered from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis with no appointment required. The physicals are intended for school-age student athletes.

Samaritan advises those planning to utilize the opportunity to bring an insurance card, if possible. For those with no insurance and don’t qualify for Oregon Health Plan, financial arrangements can be made (Samaritan says it treats patients regardless of their ability to pay).

Philomath Community Services is located at 360 S. Ninth St.
