Republic Services plans to conduct its annual Christmas Tree collection operations in Philomath from Dec. 27-Jan. 14, the company announced.

Residents are asked to place bare, unflocked trees on the curb on their regular collection day. Republic Services reminds residents that it is important to remove all decorations from trees before placing them on the curb.

Christmas tree collections will also occur in Republic Services’ territory in Albany, Corvallis, Lebanon and Tangent.

Additionally, Republic Services will have a drop-off site at 110 NE Walnut Blvd. (entrance on Belvue Avenue) in Corvallis for customers who wish to drop trees off on a day other than their pickup day.

Residents wishing to recycle strings of holiday lights can take them to the Northeast Walnut Boulevard site in Corvallis from Nov. 21-Jan. 2. Another drop-off site for lights is in Albany at 1214 SE Montgomery St.
