Rep. David Gomberg (D-Otis) plans to participate in a meet-and-greet from 1-2:30 p.m. Saturday at Philomath City Hall.
The Philomath City Council is hosting the event, which will include a discussion of legislative priorities.
Gomberg represents House District 10, which now includes Philomath following a new boundary configuration that went into effect on Jan. 1. Philomath was formerly represented by Dan Rayfield as part of House District 16.
Gomberg has made several appearances in Philomath and established a connection with city leaders. Last week, he met with councilors and the city manager at the state capitol as part of “City Day at the Capitol,” which included a tour of House chambers.
City Manager Chris Workman said Gomberg has agreed to support several community projects with state funding this legislative session and hopes Philomath residents will take advantage of the opportunity to meet with their representative.
