The Philomath Youth Activities Club is accepting registrations for Fun in the Sun, an all-day summer camp and child-care option for children entering first grade through age 12.
The camp runs 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. weekdays from June 18 through Aug. 22 with full-time care ($160 per week) and drop-in options ($50 per day) available.
The program features a variety of weekly themed activities, including sports, games, reading, swimming, field trips, science experiments, and arts and crafts. A detailed weekly itinerary will be provided to families at the start of each camp week.
Families can register at any time throughout the summer. However, early registration is encouraged and those who sign up before May 16 will have the $25 registration fee waived.
PYAC emphasizes the importance of submitting complete registration information by May 23. While registration will remain open throughout the season, space is limited to 50 children per day, and spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis — potentially resulting in waitlists for popular weeks.
