The Philomath Public Works Committee plans to meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall with an agenda that includes a review of the city’s 2023-24 capital improvement plan with the intention of moving it forward to the full City Council for approval.
The capital improvement plan is organized into separate categories for utilities, facilities and equipment and serves primarily as a planning document for the city. The plan which is updated each year, breaks down projects that have been identified and the likely source of funding.
The March 7 meeting agenda also includes a request from Jonah’s Market on South Eighth Street to expand a loading zone in front of its business.
In addition to attending the meeting in person, the proceedings can also be viewed on the city’s YouTube channel. Committee members include councilors Ruth Causey, Matt Lehman and Christopher McMorran.
