FRIDAY, JAN. 19
• Police arrested a 26-year-old Corvallis man on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol .08 through .14) during a traffic stop in the 3000 block of Main Street.
SUNDAY, JAN. 21
• Police arrested a 45-year-old Seal Rock woman at Main Street and 20th Street on a bench warrant for failure to appear.

SATURDAY, JAN. 20
• 12:08 p.m. — Deputies took a report of mail theft involving a package reportedly delivered to an address on Alexander Road that went missing.
SUNDAY, JAN. 21
• 3:06 p.m. — Deputies responded to a report of a dog at large in a field near Fern Road and Powder House Road. The dog had avoided capture by a deputy multiple times over the past month. Information was forwarded to animal control.

FATAL CRASHES
MONDAY, JAN. 22
• 4:15 a.m. — Troopers responded to a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Highway 101 south of Florence that took the life of Justin Robert Warmuth, 36, of Florence. OSP’s preliminary investigation indicated that a Toyota Tacoma driven by a 70-year-old Florence man was headed south on Highway 101 when it struck Warmuth standing in the middle of the lane wearing dark clothing. The pedestrian was declared deceased at the scene. The Toyota’s driver was not injured.
SATURDAY, JAN. 27
• 11:35 p.m. — Troopers responded to a report of a deceased person lying in the roadway on Interstate 205 north of Clackamas. OSP’s preliminary investigation indicated that a black vehicle had struck a pedestrian in the southbound lane and fled the scene. The pedestrian, Alejandro River, 48, of Happy Valley, was pronounced deceased at the scene. OSP’s Collision Reconstruction Unit was at the scene to investigate the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
