FRIDAY, SEPT. 29

• 11:02 a.m. — Police responded to a report of criminal mischief involving a resident’s house on Adelaide Drive that had been egged. A report was taken and assigned a case number.

• 3:12 p.m. — Police arrested a man on a warrant out of Lebanon in the 100 block of Northwest Fourth Street, Corvallis. No other details, including information on the person arrested, were immediately available.

• 9:40 p.m. — Police arrested a 38-year-old Corvallis woman on a Benton County warrant for contempt of court. The woman was cited in lieu of custody.

Other calls: Police responses included a welfare check at 4:57 p.m. (Main Street) and a report of reckless driving at 7:35 p.m. (Applegate Street and South 26th Street). PPD reported six traffic stops.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 30

• 12:47 a.m. — Police arrested a 61-year-old Lincoln City man on a Lebanon warrant for contempt of court. The man was cited in lieu of custody.

• 3:03 a.m. — Police responded to a driving under the influence of intoxicants situation at Southwest 35th Street and Southwest Campus Way, Corvallis. No other details were immediately available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.

• 3:48 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a car prowler in the 900 block of Applegate Street. A report was not filed.

• 10:18 p.m. — Police responded to a driving under the influence of intoxicants situation in the 2500 block of Main Street. No other details were immediately available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.

Other calls: Police responses included a parking complaint at 8:49 a.m. (Main Street), road kill at 10:32 a.m. (Pioneer Street), lost property at 2:02 p.m. (Chapel Drive), noise disturbance at 5:34 p.m. (South 13th Street), noise disturbance at 9:51 p.m. (Applegate Street) and an unknown problem at 9:59 p.m. (Applegate Street and South Ninth Street). PPD reported three traffic stops.

SUNDAY, OCT. 1

• No calls of significance were reported.

Other calls: Police responses included a domestic disturbance at 12:15 p.m. (Pioneer Street) and a non-911 issue at 1:24 p.m. (North 12th Street).

MONDAY, OCT. 2

• 3:47 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a man waving around a knife outside of Dairy Queen. The man, who cooperated with officers and denied any wrongdoing, was arrested on three fugitive from justice warrants, transported to the police station, issued citations and released.

• 5:38 p.m. – Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Main Street involving a 2011 Toyota RAV4 that rear-ended a 2011 GMC Yukon that was stopped behind a pickup that was turning left onto 26th Street. The driver of the vehicle that caused the crash reportedly had been reaching for a coffee drink, did not realize traffic was stopped and was unable to stop in time.

Other calls: Police assisted another agency on a call at 9:08 p.m. (North 16th Lane). PPD reported three traffic stops.

TUESDAY, OCT. 3

• 9:17 a.m. — Police provided direction to a woman seeking advice on a domestic violence situation with a referral to the Center Against Rape and Domestic Violence (CARDV) in Corvallis.

Other calls: Police responses included an unknown problem at 3:12 p.m. (Main Street) and a suspicious circumstance at 7:27 p.m. (College Street). PPD reported five traffic stops.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 4

• 8:13 p.m. — Police responded to a report of fraud in the 1800 block of Main Street. No other details were immediately available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.

Other calls: Police responses included property found at 1:53 a.m. (Main Street) and a juvenile complaint at 8:39 a.m. (Chapel Drive). PPD reported no traffic stops.

THURSDAY, OCT. 5

• 2:23 a.m. — Police responded to a driving under the influence of intoxicants situation in the 200 block of Northwest Fourth Street, Corvallis. No other details were immediately available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.

• 10:57 a.m. — Police responded to a situation involving warrant service at Bellfountain Road and Southwest 53rd Street, Corvallis. No other details were immediately available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.

• 5:29 p.m. — Police responded to a report of threats at a location on Applegate Street. No report was filed.

Other calls: Police responses included a person assist at 12:53 a.m. (Main Street), dog at large at 11:22 a.m. (South 19th Street), person assist at 1:06 p.m. (Main Street) and a dog barking at 5:36 p.m. (South 24th Street and Applegate Street). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 5:33 p.m. (College Street). PPD reported one traffic stop.

• 9:50 p.m. — Police responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 500 block of Starlight Way involving a house that had been egged. No suspects were found.

• 5:27 p.m. — Deputies responded to a report from a resident on Grange Hall Road who had been chased by dogs in her yard. The owner of the dogs was issued a warning for having his dogs at large.

TUESDAY, SEPT. 19

• 9:07 p.m. — Deputies arrested a 38-year-old Philomath woman on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants (.23 blood alcohol content) and reckless driving following a traffic stop for multiple violations at South 26th Street and Newton Street.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 28

• 4:32 p.m. — Deputies responded to Bellfountain Road and Llewellyn Road for a dog that had been found at the intersection. The dog, a female shepherd mix, was placed in holding kennels. The owner indicated interest in adopting the dog if no one claimed it.

FRIDAY, SEPT. 29

• 9:53 p.m. — Deputies responded to a crash on Highway 34 between Greasy Creek Road and Decker Road involving a vehicle that collided with a deer. The motorist was reportedly not injured.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 30

•1:02 a.m. — Deputies arrested a 40-year-old Lincoln City woman on charges of failure to appear in court on a criminal citation and contempt of court following a traffic stop at Main Street and North 13th Street.

FATAL CRASHES

FRIDAY, SEPT. 29

• 5:40 a.m. — Troopers responded to a one-vehicle crash on Highway 20 about 13 miles west of Riley in Deschutes County that took the life of Timothy Shannon Forgett, 57, of Boise, Idaho. OSP’s preliminary investigation indicated that Forgett was driving a Honda Accord east on the highway when he lost control, left the roadway and struck a tree. The man was declared deceased at the scene.
