The city is looking for a local business or nonprofit group willing to roll up its sleeves and give the gazebo at Philomath City Park a fresh coat of paint.
The city framed the volunteer opportunity as a chance for organizations to combine team building with a visible community contribution. The gazebo serves as the centerpiece for the popular Music in the Park concert series held each summer.
“Bring your team, your energy and your community spirit,” the city said in its announcement. “We’ll provide the project, you provide the people.”
Interested groups will need to supply volunteers ready to work and provide a certificate of liability insurance coverage.
