The Philomath School District’s 2025-26 budget process begins at 6 p.m. Thursday with committee members scheduled to meet for an informational meeting in Philomath High School’s Community Conference Room.
The Community Conference Room is located to the right inside the high school’s front entrance. Meetings will be streamed on the school district’s YouTube channel.
The Budget Committee’s preparation calendar, as approved last month by the School Board, includes a timeline that shows budget work sessions on March 6 and April 3, the latter only if necessary. A Budget Committee meeting with a proposed budget to consider and time for a community listening session will follow on May 6. A second meeting would occur May 20, if needed.
The School Board would then vote on the budget as approved by the committee during its June 12 meeting.
The Budget Committee features the five School Board members in Ryan Cheeke, Joe Dealy, Erin Gudge, Sandi Hering and Rick Wells, and five community members in Alexandria Baldwin, Shelly Brown, Kim Lopez, Craig McDaniel and Woodros Wolford.
