The Philomath School Board will tackle a full agenda at its meeting Thursday with topics that include a discussion on curriculum adoption, the latest on the South 16th Street road extension project, the appointment of a student representative to the board and specifics on interdistrict transfer slots available for the 2024-25 academic year.

The regular meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at the Philomath School District office.

According to the published meeting agenda, among the reports planned for the evening are those from the superintendent, business manager, technology department, student government and the labor associations. A presentation from an Oregon Natural Resource Education Fund grant is also planned. Other business includes policy updates and appropriations transfer.

The School Board plans to begin the evening with an executive session at 6:30 p.m. to discuss topics allowed by state statute. Executive sessions are closed to the public.

The Philomath School District office is located at 1620 Applegate St., with access to the meeting through a door at the back of the building. Meetings are also streamed on the school district’s YouTube channel.
