The Philomath Rotary Club’s 24th annual Salmon and Jazz fundraiser is scheduled for April 18 and tickets will be available for purchase until April 4, the organization announced.
The event will take place in Philomath High School’s auditorium with the doors opening at 5 p.m. Dinner service with salmon, chicken or vegan options will go from 5:30-6:45 p.m., and the PHS jazz band will perform with the dance floor open from 6:45-8 p.m.
In addition, a silent auction will run throughout the evening with winners announced near the end of the event.
Tickets are $40 and can be purchased at the Philomath School District office (1620 Applegate St.) or from any Rotarian. The deadline to purchase tickets two weeks before the event aligns with the caterer’s need to determine a final meal count.
Proceeds from the fundraiser benefit various youth programs in Philomath, including the high school’s jazz band and dance team programs, Rotary “Service Above Self” scholarships and Philomath Youth Activities Club programs.
