FRIDAY, MARCH 28

• No calls of significance were reported.

Other calls: Police responses included a report of a suspicious person at 7:46 p.m. (South 34th Place), welfare check at 8:49 p.m. (Maple Street) and suspicious circumstances involving a party at 11:30 p.m. (North 12th Street). PPD reported three traffic stops.

SATURDAY, MARCH 29

• 7:53 p.m. — Police were dispatched to a domestic disturbance situation on North 19th Street, however, the Benton County Sheriff’s Office covered with Philomath PD busy on another call. BCSO took an 18-year-old male into custody.

Other calls: Police assisted on calls at 2:28 p.m. (Southwest 53rd Street and Southwest Reservoir Avenue, Corvallis), 7:37 p.m. (Joseph Lane) and 11:07 p.m. (Highway 20). PPD reported two traffic stops.

SUNDAY, MARCH 30

• No calls of significance were reported.

Other calls: PPD reported five traffic stops.

MONDAY, MARCH 31

• 3:01 p.m. — Police responded to a report of an unknown woman who entered a vehicle at Philomath Community Services and allegedly took a cup with $6 in cash. However, the woman returned what had been taken and the reporting party did not require any further assistance. 

Other calls: Police responses included a dog complaint at 3:20 p.m. (South 15th Street). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 3:11 p.m. (Main Street). PPD reported one traffic stop.

TUESDAY, APRIL 1

• No calls of significance were reported.

Other calls: Police responses included citizen assistance at 8:59 p.m. (Southwest 53rd Street and Southwest Reservoir Avenue, Corvallis) and a report of a suspicious vehicle at 10:04 p.m. (Southwest Plymouth Drive, Corvallis). PPD reported eight traffic stops.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 2

• 10:45 p.m. — Police responded to an alleged burglary on North 15th Street. However, the situation was determined to be a mental health issue and no further action was taken.

Other calls: PPD reported four traffic stops.

THURSDAY, APRIL 3

• 2:01 p.m. — Police responded to a report of theft involving an unknown female who was shoplifting at Marys Peak True Value.

• 4:12 p.m. — Police responded to a report of theft involving an orange children’s bicycle that was stolen from an open garage in the 600 block of North 11th Street.

• 9:03 p.m. — Police responded to a domestic disturbance at a Dove Place residence. A report was taken.

Other calls: Police responses included motorist assistance at 12:17 a.m. (Southwest Plymouth Drive, Corvallis), suspicious vehicle at 3:55 a.m. (Bellfountain Road and Southwest 53rd Street, Corvallis), citizen assistance at 4:41 p.m. (North 12th Street) and a dog at large at 8:34 p.m. (Main Street). PPD reported three traffic stops.
