DAILY REPORTS
FRIDAY, NOV. 29
• 6:44 p.m. — Police assisted the Benton County Sheriff’s Office at the scene of a single-vehicle crash into a sign on Main Street just east of the “Y” at the start of the couplet. The driver reported back pain but refused medical transportation. A passenger reported no injuries.
Other calls: Police responses included motorist assistance at 1:45 p.m. (Main Street). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 7:25 p.m. (Applegate Street). PPD reported six traffic stops.
SATURDAY, NOV. 30
• 1:45 a.m. — Police responded to a report of theft in the 100 block of North 15th Street. No information was provided on what was missing but the loss was estimated at $70. A report was taken and assigned a case number.
• 11:07 a.m. — Police responded to a report of second-degree forgery at The Arc Thrift Store and Donation Center. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.
• 7:50 p.m. — Police responded to a report of stolen cans in the 300 block of South 17th Street. The value was estimated at $5.
• 10:01 p.m. — Police arrested a 54-year-old Camas woman on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol .15 through .19) during a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Main Street. A 35-year-old Camas man was also arrested on a misdemeanor charge of tampering with evidence.
Other calls: Police responses included shots heard at 2:56 p.m. (Main Street), domestic disturbance at 7:12 p.m. (Southwood Drive) and citizen contact at 8:18 p.m. (Applegate Street and South 17th Street). In addition, police assisted other agencies on calls at 7:35 p.m. (location not reported) and 10:14 p.m. (College Street). PPD reported four traffic stops.
SUNDAY, DEC. 1
• 7:50 p.m. — Police arrested a 59-year-old Eugene man on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a criminal citation and a misdemeanor charge of providing false information to a police officer in the 1400 block of Main Street.
• 9:56 p.m. — Police arrested a 35-year-old Corvallis man on a misdemeanor charge of driving while license suspended during a traffic stop at North Seventh Street and College Street.
Other calls: Police assisted another agency on a call at 2:51 a.m. (Southwest Philomath Boulevard and Southwest 35th Street, Corvallis). PPD reported 16 traffic stops.
MONDAY, DEC. 2
• 1:04 a.m. — Police responded to a report of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle in the 300 block of North 12th Street.
Other calls: Police responses included found property at 8:25 a.m. (Main Street), suspicious person at 11:11 a.m. (Main Street), domestic disturbance/argument at 12:50 p.m. (North 14th Street) and a dog at large at 2:03 p.m. (Applegate Street). PPD reported six traffic stops.
TUESDAY, DEC. 3
• 5:49 a.m. — Police responded to a crash at Main Street and North 14th Street. No injuries were reported.
• 7:40 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 100 block of North 14th Street. The vehicle was recovered Dec. 5 in the 200 block of South 23rd Street.
Other calls: Police responses included a traffic hazard situation (clearing debris from the road) at 6:43 a.m. (Main Street and South 21st Street). PPD reported three traffic stops.
WEDNESDAY, DEC. 4
• No calls of significance were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included a mental health situation at 12:56 p.m. (North 15th Street). PPD reported four traffic stops.
THURSDAY, DEC. 5
• 11:35 a.m. — Police recovered a vehicle in the 200 block of South 23rd Street that had been reported as stolen and turned over to the registered owner.
• 3:25 p.m. — Police responded to a crash at Main Street and Clemens Mill Road. No injuries were reported.
• 3:46 p.m. — Police responded to a report of tagging graffiti in the 1300 block of Main Street.
• 6:59 p.m. — Police arrested a 50-year-old Philomath man on a warrant in the 1700 block of Main Street.
Other calls: Police responses included a found dog at 11:17 a.m. (North 12th Street), mental health situation at 12:01 p.m. (Cedar Street) and an animal complaint at 9:13 p.m. (Main Street). PPD reported eight traffic stops.
