DAILY REPORTS
FRIDAY, JULY 19
• 9:44 p.m. — Police responded to a report of shots heard in the 600 block of South 15th Street. No other details were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included a city ordinance violation at 7:35 a.m. (Pioneer Street), report of a missing person at 3:58 p.m. (South 27th Street), reckless driving at 5:53 p.m. (Newton Street) and a mental health issue at 8:51 p.m. (Applegate Street). PPD reported five traffic stops.
SATURDAY, JULY 20
• 10:14 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a toddler running in traffic on South 13th Street. The child was returned home.
• 12:55 p.m. — Police arrested a 59-year-old Seaside man on several warrants for failure to appear in court during an interaction at a Landmark Drive property.
• 2:01 p.m. — Police trespassed an adult male from the 400 block of Landmark Drive.
• 5 p.m. — Police arrested a 33-year-old Lebanon woman on warrants for contempt of court during a traffic stop at Southwest 53rd Street and Philomath Boulevard in Corvallis.
Other calls: Police responses included contact with a citizen at 1:21 a.m. (Northwest Kings Boulevard, Corvallis). PPD reported 16 traffic stops.
SUNDAY, JULY 21
• 4:53 a.m. — Police assisted as part of a response to a report of a possible lightning-sparked fire in the Evergreen Road-Fern Road vicinity. No fire was found.
• 5:54 p.m. — During a welfare check, police told a man that he could not sleep outside of Philomath Community Library.
• 6:32 p.m. — Police reported the execution of warrant service at Applegate Street and South 18th Street but no other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.
• 7:53 p.m. — Police arrested a 61-year-old Estacada man on a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspected during a traffic stop in the 120 block of South 14th Street.
• 8:24 p.m. — Police arrested a 33-year-old Sweet Home man on a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended during a traffic stop in the 2600 block of Main Street.
Other calls: Police responses included a traffic hazard at 5:51 a.m. (South 13th Street and Applegate Street), traffic hazard at 6:41 a.m. (South 13th Street and Applegate Street) and a traffic complaint at 8:56 a.m. (Maple Street and South 17th Street). PPD reported 11 traffic stops.
MONDAY, JULY 22
• No calls of significance were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included a traffic hazard at 7:36 p.m. (North Ninth Street and Quail Glenn Drive) and a dog barking at 9:49 p.m. (Pioneer Street). PPD reported four traffic stops.
TUESDAY, JULY 23
• 12:38 p.m. — Police responded to a one-vehicle crash on South 13th Street near Applegate Street. A report on the incident indicates that a motorist missed road closed signs and drove onto a portion of South 13th Street that had been dug out. No injuries were reported.
• 2:58 p.m. — Police responded to a crash in the 100 block of South 19th Street. No injuries were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included a welfare check at 10:28 a.m. (North 14th Street), dog at large at 5:10 p.m. (Pioneer Street), extra patrol at 5:25 p.m. (Cedar Street and South 15th Street) and a suspicious vehicle at 10:30 p.m. (North Ninth Street). In addition, police assisted the Corvallis Police Department on a call at 11:43 a.m. (Southwest Meadow Flower Drive, Corvallis) and the Benton County Sheriff’s Office on a call at 7:08 p.m. (Peterson Road). PPD reported no traffic stops.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 24
• No calls of significance were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included interaction with a citizen at 10:24 a.m. (Applegate Street), citizen assistance at 12:37 p.m. (South 13th Street) and a dog barking at 9:44 p.m. (Pioneer Street). PPD reported five traffic stops.
THURSDAY, JULY 25
• 2:02 p.m. — Police responded to a violation of an order on a call in the 200 block of South 13th Street. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.
• 3:01 p.m. — Police arrested a 31-year-old Albany man on a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft (shoplifting) following an incident in the 1800 block of Main Street.
• 9:23 p.m. — Police responded to a crash at South 14th Street and Main Street. No injuries were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included motorist assistance at 8:13 a.m. (Main Street) and a motorist assistance at 11:37 a.m. (Main Street). PPD reported two traffic stops.
