DAILY REPORTS

FRIDAY, DEC. 6

• 3:58 a.m. — Police responded to an alarm with a possible burglary at Vinwood Taphouse on Main Street. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.

Other calls: Police responses included citizen contact at 4:48 a.m. (Main Street), abandoned vehicle at 11:10 a.m. (Green Street), non-911 issue at 12:16 p.m. (McCall Way), parking complaint at 5:03 p.m. (South 17th Street) and a suspicious circumstance at 7:48 p.m. (Applegate Street). PPD reported five traffic stops.

SATURDAY, DEC. 7

• 1:21 a.m. — Police responded to a report of theft in the 100 block of North 15th Street. However, it was discovered that the items missing were not stolen and had been misplaced.

Other calls: Police responses included extra patrol at 1:47 a.m. (Main Street). In addition, police assisted other agencies on calls at 12:04 a.m. (Southwest Reservoir Avenue, Corvallis), 5:25 a.m. (Heritage Hills Drive) and 8:02 p.m. (North 15th Street). PPD reported 13 traffic stops.

SUNDAY, DEC. 8

• 7:33 a.m. — Police responded to a report of criminal mischief with crime damage in the 100 block of North Eighth Street. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.

Other calls: Police responses included a private property tow at 6:49 p.m. (College Street), unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle at 8:28 p.m. (College Street) and citizen contact at 9:59 p.m. (North Ninth Street and College Street). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 2:56 a.m. (Applegate Street). PPD reported 19 traffic stops.

MONDAY, DEC. 9

• 10:49 a.m. — Police responded to a report of graffiti at Philomath City Park.

• 11:40 a.m. — Police responded to a crash at Chapel Drive and South 13th Street. No injuries were reported.

Other calls: Police responses included a city ordinance violation at 1:34 a.m. (Main Street), suicidal person at 2:47 p.m., argument at 6:38 p.m. (Main Street), traffic hazard at 8:15 p.m. (Highway 20 about 4 miles west of Blodgett) and a lost dog at 9:33 p.m. (North 20th Street). PPD reported 23 traffic stops.

TUESDAY, DEC. 10

• 9:28 a.m. — Police responded to a report of criminal mischief with crime damage at Philomath City Park. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.

Other calls: Police responses included a dog at large at 8:50 a.m. (Neabeack Hill and James Street), citizen assistance at 12:01 p.m. (South 15th Street), welfare check at 5:04 p.m. (South 13th Street), dog at large at 6:14 p.m. (Cooper Lane), neighbor dispute at 8:21 p.m. (North Eighth Street), found dog at 8:22 p.m. (Cooper Lane), foot patrol at 10:30 p.m. (South 18th Street) and a suspicious circumstance at 10:56 p.m. (Applegate Street). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 10:51 p.m. (Southwest Philomath Boulevard, Corvallis). PPD reported eight traffic stops.

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 11

• 9:54 a.m. — Police responded to a dispute involving a civil issue between two men over the sale of a cord of wood through a social media app.

• 3:31 p.m. — Police responded to a crash at Applegate Street and South 14th Street. No injuries were reported.

• 3:48 p.m. — Police responded to a report of fraud in the 3000 block of Main Street. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.

• 6:10 p.m. — Police responded to two disabled vehicles that had both reportedly missed turns and gone into a ditch in the 2400 block of Main Street. The vehicles were not damaged but needed to be pulled out of the ditch by a tow company.

Other calls: Police responses included a city ordinance violation at 12:56 a.m. (Main Street). PPD reported six traffic stops.

THURSDAY, DEC. 12

• 6:10 p.m. — Police responded to warrant service in the 3100 block of Main Street. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.

• 7:08 p.m. — Police cited and released a man (age, city of residence not available) who had allegedly stolen a Giant Bicycles’ mountain bike valued at $1,000 from Corvallis. The bicycle was later recovered in Philomath.

Other calls: Police responses included the reported theft of a blanket at 8:58 a.m. (North 15th Street), street closure situation at 2:21 p.m. (North 19th Street and Main Street), found property at 2:41 p.m. (Applegate Street and South 11th Street), citizen assistance (South 19th Street), citizen contact at 9:59 p.m. (North 19th Street and College Street) and citizen contact at 10:51 p.m. (Applegate Street).  In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 11:16 p.m. (Southwest Philomath Boulevard, Corvallis). PPD reported six traffic stops.
